Description: This is the best event Thai club offer for everyone in the university. Subsidizing by SG and sponsoring by Siam Restaurant, the club offers FREE Pad Thai (veg, shrimp, chiken), Thai ice tea, and Thai ice coffee to everyone during the busy week of midterm. The offer is on first-come-first-serve basis.


Activity: IFF (International Food Festival)

Description: Thai club will present more than 200 pieces of potstickers from Siam Restuarant. Two pieces for one ticket. Be there early to get in front of the line. Otherwise, all food will be gone.


Activity: TSAC Meeting(Thai Student Association in Chicago)

Description: This is the first time that Thai students in institution of higher education in the city of Chicago will meet to get to know each other. UIC Thai club is the group that brings up this idea and make it come true. The meeting will have Thai students from Northwestern University, University of Chicago, University of Illinois, Chicago, and Illinois Institute of Technology. There will be games (e.g. some kinds of games Thai game show use on TV), lunch and dinner, free dance, and performance from each school. Next year, the TSAC committee agrees to have this kind of meeting again at Northwestern University.



Activity: Thai Nite (Thai Cultural Show and Dinner)

Description:
Thai Nite is a major event of the club in each year. Every club members will put their most effort to bring Thai magnificent cultural perfomances and delicious Thai dishes to campus. This event earned high recognitions from students and faculty last year. More than 200 tickets sold. This year, the ticket for all-you-can-eat Thai food and cultural show will be $6 for students and $8 for non-student. Ticket will be on sold by the next two week. (week of 5/2/99). The certain date of the show will be announced soon.
Note Tickets on sale for $6 for student and $8 for non-student.
